Inspiration and Photography

Shot from Villa Maya Campaign featuring Suloni as Queen Maya.

As photography enthusiasts, we all know the anxiety of trying to stay inspired. In photography, it’s easy to become stuck in a creative rut and lose motivation for photography projects. Luckily, there are plenty of ways to get back into the photography groove and find new sources of inspiration! Here are some tips to help you stay inspired as a photographer:

1. Take a break from your routine - Changing up your photography routine can be a great way to reinvigorate your creativity. Visit different types of locations that you haven’t explored before, or try working with different types of lighting setups. By switching up your photography environment and methodology, you can bring freshness and joy back into your work.

2. Find photography mentors - A photography mentor can be an invaluable resource because they can help to provide perspective and advice. By working with a photography mentor, you can learn new techniques that you wouldn’t have been able to discover on your own. Finding a photography mentor may take some time, but it will surely be worth the effort!

3. Take risks in your photography - Taking risks is an important part of any creative pursuit, including photography. Push yourself to try something new or unexpected in your photography projects and see what happens! Taking risks might lead to surprising results and give you the inspiration boost that you need.

4. Reflect on past successes - Don’t forget about all the successes that you have achieved throughout your photography journey. Reflecting on past successes can be a great way to remind yourself of how far you have come and boost your motivation for photography projects.

These are just a few tips that you can use to stay inspired as a photographer. By taking breaks from routine, finding photography mentors, taking risks in photography, and reflecting on past successes, you will be well positioned to keep your heart and mind open to the beauty of photography!

Happy shooting! :)
